Pre-trial settlement and Day in the life videos

For over two decades, our "day in the life" videos have been an effective means of telling a victim's story. The old adage that a picture tells a thousand words rings even truer when the pictures are combined with video and audio to tell a "day in the life" story. Stories designed to educate and motivate a judge or jury and improve understanding of the challenges and lifestyle adaptations that individuals face after an injury.

Though similar, a settlement video is used pre-trial and offers more freedom in storytelling then may be allowed in the courtroom. A settlement video can always be adapted to other uses such as a day in the life presentation if needed.

In both types of productions, the end product can be a non-interactive DVD that plays straight through or an interactive one that may include damages and additional background or technical details.

A production may begin by showing family photos, along with interviews and footage depicting life before and after the accident - depicting not only the victim's situation but also the related impact on the family. Combined with appropriate music and graphics, this style of production video will impact the judge, jury and all parties involved.

Case Study

The interview that was taped for this video provided a far greater insight of the client's anguish, and the toll it took on his family.
