Video Resources can work with just about any source footage, analog or digital such as VHS, 8MM video, DVD, DV -- even hard drive-based media and obsolete formats - you name it we can play it and work with it. We can de-interlace frame-based footage, allowing access to every frame and field of video.
Recording multiple camera views onto one tape, called multiplexing, is a common cost-saving measure for surveillance and CCTV systems, but can create headaches when that evidence is needed most. Our system can easily separate multiplexed footage, and allow you to select one or more particular views for additional processing or enhancement. We can also save this "demultiplexed" footage as individual video clips and/or as split screen or matrix video clips - a single video clip with up to sixteen individual camera views playing simultaneously.
We may be able to repair tape-based media that has been wrinkled or physically broken.
Whatever form your media is in we can consolidate it, reformat it, add metadata and make it searchable for use in trial. Individual images can be exported or entire segments converted to your choice of file formats including AVI, QuickTime, MPEG, MPEG-2 and then onto videotape, DVD or CD-ROM. Your evidence can be presented in the medium that best suits your needs including photographic enlargement, interactive DVDs or PowerPoint presentations.

Once captured into our systems, video evidence can be examined or enhanced with dozens of video and audio filters, or annotated with title overlays. An unlimited number of video and audio segments can be compared, aligned or synced -- providing accurate analysis of a chronological sequence of events. Brightness, image contrast, poor lighting or improperly adjusted and maintained cameras and video equipment can be compensated for. We can remove noise and video graininess, often revealing hidden details.
